In addition, we are honored with the contributions of Ms Kajsa Ollongren, (outgoing) Deputy Prime Minister of the Netherlands as well as Ambassador H.E. Mr. Peter van der Vliet.

In the search for innovations that contribute to energy efficient and more sustainable building methods, as well as to healthier and more intelligent work places, we believe that the Netherlands and Japan have a lot to learn from each other. Therefore, the program is split in 2 parts:

1. On June 30 we present state-of-art in real estate projects and architecture by showcasing how to create future value by integrating vision, design and technology, with internationally renowned players such as Edge Technologies, Dam & Partners Architects, the successful Dutch-Japanese cooperation between Daiwa House Europe and modular builder Jan Snel and many more. Finally, the Netherlands Foreign Investment Agency will be addressing the audience, while Holland Contech & Proptech and Japan Proptech will also actively participate.
2. On July 1, we organise online match-making presentations with a selection of unique innovations by Dutch and Japanese proptech companies. Participation is upon invitation only and free of charge.

Hence, the objective of this event is to stimulate cooperation and business development between Dutch and Japanese companies active in real estate as well as to offer a glimpse in to the future of smart office space.

Finally, the Netherlands is a well-known European base for Japanese companies, with around 800 Japanese establishments in the country. It is also an interesting destination for investors, boasting an excellent investment climate with a stable political and regulatory environment, a well-developed financial services infrastructure and a wide variety of large-scale investment opportunities in the field of energy, infrastructure and real estate.
